Without a shred of doubt we can say there is not even a single living home in this world without furniture. Not only in the home we are all come across the wooden furniture in every corner irrespective of places and where we are. As our population increases the requirement of the furniture also increases as well, so obviously we are in need to approach a carpenter and need to buy treated timbers or wood to manufacture required furniture. It is also sensible to select well treated or well preservative timber before we start to manufacture desired furniture.
Wood preservation is a common as well as essential process where we are going to treat a timber with serious of preservative methods in which we manufacture furniture. It should be a required process because where we ensure the quality, stability and prolong longevity of the timber than the untreated timbers. The wood preservation method is usually of two common types one is called structural preservation and another one is chemical preservation. Both the preservation methods would make the treated timber or treated lumber furniture keep away from rot and deterioration when the furniture is exposed in water, moisture, sun, fungus, insects and termite.
In the chemical wood preservation process, the industrial experts use arsenic and chromium (CCA) to preserve the timbers or furniture. But some the concerned boards have stopped the method of treating a residential timbers (some of the residential treated timber products are fencing poles, utility poles, floor deck etc.,) with the above mentioned chemicals. Nowadays they have replaced the chromium also known as CCA with some copper based pesticides. If you need to use such poisoning chromium chemicals to treat the timber for industrial use, you need to request for approval from certain concerned boards. They will thoroughly analyze your requirement to approve your request.
Usually such concerned boards never approve us to use arsenic and chromium for treating timbers in which we are going to manufacture residential timber products like wooden fencing posts, timber mats, pipe bents and wood decking material etc.,
